GCSB Takes Out The Top Prize in the NZIM Business Challenge in 2010
We'd like to congratulate members of GCSB's leadership development group, who competed in the 2010 NZIM Business Challenge and won!
The challenge involved five games of steering a simulated business through various situations, in competition with four similar business operated by other teams. Participating in the challenge, the team said, was both a lot of fun and a great opportunity to observe team dynamics. Members attribute their success to building a team that was more than the sum of its parts, and jokingly deny that supercomputers were used in the win.
Congratulations also to the fifty-four other teams from private industry and government, who completed and no doubt also had a great time.
